Excellent communication skills
Equally comfortable working alone or in a team, I enjoy sharing ideas with clients and other professionals in office and gallery TV environments. Every day I liaise with Journalists, Editors, and Technical Staff in person, via email and by phone. In a news team I work to very tight deadlines. As a consummate professional with a can-do attitude; I will always tactfully manage expectations and find some way to work around any time constraints or design issues.
OrganiSational skills
Creating a daily schedule allowing time for on-the-day graphics, anticipating future needs for news stories/ feature edits and planning accordingly, as well as reacting to requests for lost minute breaking news graphics. Previous office employment included coordinating, implementing and supervising maintenance of office records, and also booking venues and the designing and distribution of publicity literature.
